October 25: Bob Dylan at the Shrine Mosque

How’s this for a Sunday show? One of the biggest music legends of all time plays the Shrine Mosque tonight. Tickets remain, though we’re not sure for how long. You can get them at the Shrine box office or at metrotix.com. It’s a reasonable price (mid-$40 range) to hear one of the most influential voices of the last 100 years. The show is at 7:30 p.m.

At first when I saw the word Mosque I thought this was our Bob making a play for world peace that would have had everyone applauding. However it seems it's not the groundbreaker that would have been, but possibly a more important gig than I might realise, ie still very praiseworthy and politically influential:
