July 3: I Love America!

With the down...er, -fall of Firefall, I Love America! is officially the family friendly 4th of July destination in Springfield. Hosted by James River Assembly at Springfield Underground (near Division and 65), it's an all-day festival of music (a 5 p.m. concert from national recording act Press Play is a huge local get), fireworks, fun and games. It's also free. If you want to watch on TV from home, where you can enjoy a cool adult beverage, I Love America is broadcast on Mediacom channel 89.
