I came into this GO game a little late. I have worked for Whitaker Publishing for almost three years now, but have only been on the GO staff since August of 2008. The first thing I learned is that I really like stealing ideas from others, so I am going to start by writing this the way Dylan did on Monday…

I’ve learned I really love revealing new cover ideas to the staff in our Thursday morning meetings … That Dylan always has good ideas, for anything … That Gary hates people who pop their gum, or sniffle, or lick their fingers … That dive bars make a great cover story, and great fun … That Joan likes her pens … That I am so organized I think it might annoy people sometimes … That mocking the rude Christians who stand on the corner of downtown was actually very liberating … That Springfield is a fun place to grow from a high schooler to a college student to a young professional … That I love stealing the only blueberry donut from Dylan, especially since it makes him mad … That somehow Matt can always come up with great lines for “GO Going Gone” I mean how does he come up with that sh*t? … That Logan likes her papers three-hole-punched … That I have an infectious addiction to photo booths when they are at our events (at left) … That Kevin does not like sushi due to a birthday dinner gone wrong … That Luke and his roommate Odie, one of our Top Singles, dress alike, most of the time … That Bret doesn’t normally wake up until about 9:30 a.m., even if he is here at 8 a.m. … That I love these people … And that there is so much talent in this staff that we will continue to do great things for this company for years to come.
