December 15: See some Christmas lights

Whether you're oohing and ahhing or just making fun of others ineptitude in the field of exterior illumination, driving to see Christmas lights can be a great bonding experience with your significant other or friends and family. Of course you can go to a drive-through display, as well, which are everywhere in Branson, including the Kimberling City marina, Indian Point, and more. Silver Dollar City is completely decked out, and most of the attractions are still open (you'll love the silly Christmas Saloon show... or at least the kids will). It's beautiful. Of course, you could just drive through neighborhoods, too. But we'll leave that route up to you.

A new MUST SEE light display is in Battlefield, Missouri at the Martin home located at 4032 W. Mesa, Battlefield. It has all kinds of lights synchronized to music, LOTS of songs, including Rudolph, Hippo for Christmas, old time favorites and great Tri-Siberian Orchestra songs. It's easy to find. Take FF Highway (called West Bypass further North) from James River Freeway into Battlefield, Missouri. Turn left on Ridgeview (on the left past Rapid Roberts) and go to the street ends, turn right on Tanager, and another left on Mesa. Can't miss it. Check it out. I am sure you will be pleased.
